Mostly, Google RCS Messages works well on my Samsung. However, as of yesterday, I started to receive messages in which the image or video someone sends won't load. I tried multiple fixes. I still can't access the video or the images. If I uninstall/reinstall, I am concerned I will lose messages, though I believe they are stored as data on the phone.

For the past 2 weeks this app has not been loading messages for group chats. I've tried restarting my phone and uninstalling/installing the app but the issue was not resolved. I saw on another review, Google provided a link but the play store does not allow you to click links and when I tried to type the link manually it didn't work. I've already submitted my feedback in the app. Contact me when you have a fix but until then I will have to use a different app.

I hate this app! When I'm in a hurry, I can't compose a text quickly. It's super annoying when I may not want to add a contact or number to my phone before creating or composing a text. I got a new phone, a Samsung S25+, and it had this as the default texting app. I hate it so much! 🤦♀️
